Report from Riadh Bensaoucha
The 2nd Libyan Memory Championship was held on August 06th, 2016 in Tripoli, Libya at El Mahary Radisson Blu Hotel, Organized by the Libyan Memory Championship Foundation, Sponsored By Libyana Mobile Phone, and Managed by Mr. Abdelgadir ALFASY the representative of the Arabian Memory Championship Foundation in Libya.
The Championship was managed by two Arbiters Level 2, Riadh Bensaoucha and Ahmad Lamine Challa. the Arbiters team was Composed from 10 Arbiters from Libya, and the Arbiters was Trained for the Arbitring job the day before the Championship.
The participants in the Championship were as follows:
– 8 Kids, 11 Juniors, 6 Adults, 1 Senior.
– 18 Males, 8 Females.
– 7 Old compititors, 19 New Compititors.
The Championship was at a very good level of organization with great presence of media to cover the event, the Champions were as follow:
– First place: Mohammed Omar EBSHISH total of 2948 points
– Second place: Ahmed Abdelhafidh EBSHEESH total of 2504 points
– Third place: Abdulwahab EMBAREK a total of 1979 points
The results by categories is as follow:
1- Adults:
– First place: Zakariya ISMAIL, a total of 2106 points
– Second place: Abdalaziz ALEWAN, a total of 1702 points
– Third place: Ayoub ISMAIL a total of 1113 points
2- Juniors:
– First place: Mohammed Omar EBSHISH a total of 2948 points
– Second place: Ahmed Abdelhafidh EBSHEESH total of 2504 points
– Third place: Hadeel GHOPPAR a total of 2136 points
3- Kids:
– First place: Mustafa ELRGAIBE total of 1031 points
– Second place: Mohamad EDDAIRY total of 938 points
– Third place: Musa ELFASY total of 903 points
In this championship, we have 11 new Arabic records as follow:
1- Juniors:
– Mohammed Omar EBSHISH: Random Words (72 Word /5 min), Binary Numbers (333 Number / 5 min), Random Cards (124 Cards / 10 min), Speed Numbers (132 Number / 5 min).
– Ahmed Abdelhafidh EBSHEESH: Random Words (63 Word / 5 min), Binary Numbers (300 Number / 5 min), Random Numbers (284 Number / 15 min).
– Hadeel GHOPPAR: Binary Numbers (285 Number / 5 min).
2- Kids:
– Musa ELFASY: Random Cards (63 Cards / 10 min), Speed Cards (52 Cards / 5 min).
– Mustafa ELRGAIBE: Random Words (40 Word /5 min).
The next day of the Championship was for tourism with the Champions of memory in Leptis Magna in Khoms.
