The ASEAN Open Memory Championships is a high-level brainpower competition in the region of China and ASEAN, which is headed by the World Memory Sports Council (WMSC) and the Asia-PacificMemory Sports Council (APMSC). The competitors, from not limited to China and countries from ASEAN, such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, and even from the rest of the whole world will compete in mental literacy on this grand stage then.
The 1st ASEAN Open Memory Championships in 2019 adopts the competition system of country level, which includes ten disciplines. The competitors fall into kids, Junior, Adults and Senior group according to age.
The Vision for the Holding of ASEAN Memory Championships
The ASEAN Open Memory Championships has responded to the national strategy of Belt and Road Initiative to promote the building of integration of China and ASEAN, develop friendly foreign relations, and promote the wide-ranging, deep and high-level and all-round cooperation between China and ASEAN.
