The Official World Rankings are the results of all WMSC competitions over the past 26 years. It enables competitors to compare their performance to other competitors around the world. All of the events in the World Rankings were independently arbited by an approved WMSC arbiter and each event was organised in the same way using the 10 Memory Disciplines created by the founder of the sport . This enables an exact comparison between performances. for that reason, no standard events cannot be included in the World Rankings.
Only WMSC approved events are included in the rankings. Memory achievements made at non ranked event, need to be repeated at an official event if they are to be included in the World Rankings.
Do not be misled into thinking that records achieved in events organised by other memory clubs will be included in the official World Records. It is the Official World Records that are recognised by Guinness World Records
WMSC wishes to make it clear that Mr Andy Fong no longer has any connection with WMSC and that results in competitions organised by him will not count for officially recognised records or ratings
